08.12.2023 | The German Research Foundation (DFG) is funding Esslingen University of Applied Sciences as one of ten universities of applied sciences in Germany and the only university in Baden-Württemberg with a research impulse // Six million euros for five years

A success for Esslingen University of Applied Sciences: The ‘Smart Factory Grids’ project has received around six million euros from the German Research Foundation (DFG). This makes Esslingen University of Applied Sciences one of ten universities of applied sciences (UAS) in Germany to receive targeted support from a new DFG funding instrument. For the first time, the DFG is setting up so-called research impulses at HAWs and wants to enable HAWs with strong research capabilities to expand their research profile.
