The MBA programme at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences has achieved a Top 10 place in the international "FindMBA" Business School Rankings.
The CHE University Ranking in Germany's ZEIT Study Guide considers facts relating to studying, teaching, equipment and research, and includes students’ opinions of their university. The table below contains selected results for the overall situation. A third of the disciplines are reassessed every year.
Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering / Colour and Coatings, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sustainable Building Services and Energy Engineering as well as Electrical Engineering, Automotive Systems and Mechatronics have all achieved outstanding results in the national CHE Ranking. This puts Esslingen in the national top flight in these disciplines – together with a few other universities of applied sciences in Germany.

The faculty of Computer Science and Engineering as well as the Bachelor degree programme Nursing Sciences at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences have all achieved outstanding results in the national CHE Ranking. Four degree programmes at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences have all achieved outstanding results in the national CHE Ranking: Business Information Systems, Business Administration and Social Work, which are based on its Hilltop Campus, and Engineering Management on its campus in Göppingen. This puts Esslingen in the national top flight in these disciplines – together with a few other universities of applied sciences in Germany.

The assessments for the university ranking compiled by the Wirtschaftswoche journal are based on information provided by around 500 personnel managers from small, medium-sized and large enterprises all over Germany.

"FindMBA" compiles an annual ranking of Business Schools for Industrial Management & Manufacturing. The ranking lists the global Top 10 business schools.
In 2020, the Esslingen MBA in International Industrial Management joined other prestigious schools such as ESADE Business School in Spain and the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland in a select group: the Top 10 Business Schools for Industrial Management & Manufacturing.
